Animorphs: The Warning

Howdy folks, I know it’s been another while since our last posting. I understand this is starting to become routine, these longs wait times between episodes. I’m sure its very unpleasant to you all, not having the shining, amusing beacon of magnificence that we are in your lives for long stretches of time. If it were up to me, we’d record and upload a new episode every day, if it were even humanly possible once you factor in daily life things like work and human relationships. As it turns out, we’re pretty busy people. Lately we’ve both been consumed by our various projects, mine being working on my third novel, and Coleman doing the book trailer for my series. It’s left us with significantly less time for podcasting. We’ve got work-arounds for that, though. We plan on limiting the episodes length and editing, and hopefully recording more frequently and getting the episodes to you all much faster. Win-win for all, I’d say.

We’ve also unveiled a new mini-project: Private Thought-Speak. Below you’ll find a youtube video of a chunk of dialogue that had to be edited out of our latest episode. Usually, when Coleman and I hook up online and start recording, we’ll have a few minutes of candid conversation before getting started talking about the book. Used to be, we’d edit those segments out and discard them. But since apparently you all like hearing us talk, we thought it’d be fun to give you just that little bit extra, in case the actual episode isn’t enough to tide you over. Look for Private Thought-Speak on our facebook page, before the new episode drops.

Today on Thought-Speak: An explanation about the most recent hiatus, a revelation about Mitchell and Coleman’s other projects, 90’s internet lingo, more poop humor, infiltrating the WAA! HQ, the best scene with Jake’s family yet, another Animorphs mission gone wrong, lovely Yeerk cannibalism… All that and more in our review of Animorphs book 16, “The Warning.”

We need you to subscribe to the show on iTunes and/or Stitcher! It’s important for helping other people find out about our show. If you want us to keep going and do the entire series, you’d better get on that. Please rate our show and review it as well, that’s the most helpful. Don’t forget: you can email us your thoughts on the next book, “The Underground” at Thoughtspeakcast@gmail.com and we’ll read them at the end of our next episode. We make no promises on whether or not we’ll make fun of you, though…

Excelsior!
