Our reaction to The Reaction came as quite a surprise to both of us. I won’t ruin it for you here, but let’s just say we have a lot to talk about. This book, once described by me as “the epitome of an Animorphs book”, breeds a lot of discussion. We’ll also be reading a ton of segments from the book, because let’s be honest, there’s some damn good dialogue in there. Very funny stuff. We’ve also integrated a “trivia” section at the beginning of the episode using the website Seerowpedia. Don’t forget to check out The Sharing at the bottom of this post, where we have another cool collection submitted from a real die hard fan.
In this episode we’re talking about the worst Animorphs fans, the crazy amount of Andalite Chronicles ads, Jeremy Jason McColeman, lots and lots of great dialogue, the level of dedication that Visser 3 has for his job, Marco’s awesome llama morph, Cassie and Marco wanting to morph Rachel, Ax being a real “bad Ax“, more evidence of Cassie being a creep, and another book we want! All that and more in our review of Animorphs book 12, “The Reaction.”
Here’s the part where I tell you all to subscribe to the show on iTunes and/or Stitcher. It’s actually super important because it helps more people find us. If you could find it in your heart to rate our show and review it as well, that’s even better. Don’t forget: you can email us your thoughts on the next book, “Book 13: The Change” at Thoughtspeakcast@gmail.com and we’ll read them at the end of our next episode. We make no promises on whether or not we’ll make fun of you, though…
Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need roads.
• Hosts Mitchell and Coleman talk about a party Mitchell went to recently and starting an Animorphs wiki site to rival Seerowpedia. Also, they debut the new “Trivia” section of the podcast.

Today’s collection comes from Michael Ankofski, who had this to say about it:
“This is my Applegate/Grant shelf. I’ve had the entire Animorphs collection pretty much since I got into it in 2002 or so. Everything else I’ve only gotten in the past couple years. I’m very cheap, so pretty much all of it was bought used or from Borders when they had their going out of business sale. I found the U.K. version of Remnants #1 for 10 cents once (in 2013, in the U.S.), so I went ahead and bought five. Eve & Adam, BZRK, and some of Gone was actually purchased new. The one “weird” item I have is the Animorphs board game.”
Whoa! Nice collection, Michael! Let’s get together and play that board game sometime!
